Here’s another installment of YouBlog- where I introduce you to one of your fellow blogmies. Remember the goal is to get to know each other! Many of you readers/commenters were born to be friends- I just know it. And I’m out to prove it!

Sarah_RuppI know, long blog title, but I had to use her first and last name since we’ve already had a “SarahBlogs“. [Way to hog the name, Sarah Markley!] :)

Meet Sarah Rupp. Sarah is a darling little friend of mine. Okay, officially, she was Shannon Primicerio’s friend first, but I just tag along in their friendship.

I met Sarah at the SheSpeaks conference in August and think she is probably one of the most talented writers I know. Puts my skillz to shame. Sarah writes both fiction and non-fiction. She wrote a short piece on her blog titled Vacuuming that I think is brilliant and detailed and makes me FULL ON JEALOUS of her ability to write.

Jealous in that loving way. Of course.

Also:: NEWSFLASH :: Sarah and two other cutey-patooties have started an awesome blog about modern and modest style. And as you know, I struggle. :) So check out that new site as well.

Seriously. Go ahead and bookmark her blog, read up on Sarah, and make sure you are fully capable of being able to say, “Yeah, I knew Sarah back when she was finishing high school….” cause the child is going to be some kind of famous writer. I’m praying for Sarah today, that God would continue to raise her up and hone her gifts. She rules.

That’s it. Phew. About 2o bloggers in 20 weeks featured on YouBlogs. That is super awesome. I have really enjoyed being able to introduce you to some bloggers that come around here and hang out with you in the comments every day.

We’re gonna take a break for a while, but hang in there. If you wanted to be featured and missed the chance, or if you just enjoyed hearing from a variety of people on Thursdays, it’ll be back.  :)

Here’s another installment of YouBlog- where I introduce you to one of your fellow blogmies. Remember the goal is to get to know each other! Many of you readers/commenters were born to be friends- I just know it. And I’m out to prove it!

Marijke JaneMarijke is one of my most long standing blog friends. I feel like she and I have been crossing internet paths for a long time. Not only is she a great blogger, Marijke is also an amazing singer- here’s the link to her myspace page. Let that puppy play in the background as you read today. Sets quite the appropriate mood.

The post I want you to read is short, but HILARIOUS. And remember, I love the guys of Third Day a ton, but I just thought this Letter to the Editor was too cute to pass over.

I absolutely love the part about Testify To Love. Funny stuff.

Hope y’all enjoy her words and her tunes. Tell Marijke that I said hi, and maybe she should bring that sweet folk americana voice to Nashville!

Hope you have enjoyed YouBlogs! We are booked up here until the end of 2009. So if you wanna be featured, hang on and another chance will come around in 2010!

bj_hamrick_headshotI’m way excited to introduce you to my friend BJ Hamrick. BJ is an author and we share the same literary agent. Which is actually super fun- cause it’s like we play on the same team. I love it.

BJ is a great writer and a funny writer. So if you are looking for some added humor in your life, this may be the blog you’ve been waiting to find.

My favorite post, though, is titled Big Dreams. I love hearing other authors (that are also my friends) talk about when God birthed dreams in their hearts. Very very cool.

So go see BJ and give her a big hug for me! Love that girl.

Hope you have enjoyed YouBlogs! We are booked up here until the end of 2009. So if you wanna be featured, hang on and another chance will come around in 2010!

Here’s another installment of YouBlog- where I introduce you to one of your fellow blogmies. Remember the goal is to get to know each other! Many of you readers/commenters were born to be friends- I just know it. And I’m out to prove it!

Cory and Max 180Something funny happened this week when I was preparing to feature Brooke’s blog.

I couldn’t decide which post I liked the best.

So sweet Brooke is going to have to deal with me throwing away some imaginary rule about only featuring one post. Cause I’m sending you to two posts.

First of all, I absolutely love the honesty in Brooke’s post titled What I Am. It made me feel like standing up out of my chair and saying, “YES!”. I know that’s kinda weird.

Here’s Brooke’s second post- called The Elijah Prayer. Brooke is putting a call out there to you mamas to be praying for your husbands as they try to be Godly fathers. Though I can only pray symbolically, I think what she has to say is AMAZING and those of you who are raising a family should jump on board!

So enjoy Brooke’s world over there. And tell her I said hi ya! :)

Hope you have enjoyed YouBlogs! We are booked up here until the end of 2009. So if you wanna be featured, hang on and another chance will come around in 2010!

Here’s another Wednesday installment of YouBlog- where I introduce you to one of your fellow blogmies. Remember the goal is to get to know each other! Many of you readers/commenters were born to be friends- I just know it. And I’m out to prove it!100_2033

I’m super excited to introduce you to Bindu. How bout these adventurously photo-ed girls of the last few weeks?

Bindu and I are about the same age and she did an really cool post recently, writing a letter to her 20-year old self. I think it’s really smart and beneficial to reflect this way. So currently I’m writing a letter to my four year old self.

I kid.

Anyways, head over to Bindu’s corner of the world and see what all she writes about. She’s fun to read and has a sweet and Godly perspective on life. She has a cool list “101 in 1001 days” that I LOVE reading and checking out each time I hop over there.

Here’s something else I think you’ll like about Bindu. She wanted to be a You-Blogger for a while and FINALLY sent me an email. I, of course, jumped on the opportunity to feature her. I can think of a couple of you out there probably really will love Bindu’s blog and be glad that she volunteered. I know I am.

Hope you have enjoyed YouBlogs! We are booked up here until the end of 2009. So if you wanna be featured, hang on and another chance will come around in 2010!

I love Laura. She’s someone who has become a bloggy-friend via comments and emails and blog reading time- both on my end and her’s.

Laura spent about six months living in Jerusalem and just returned home in July. Her post about transitioning back home is really touching and gives me a new perspective. I’ve never been a long-term missionary and I’ve never studied abroad, so it is interesting to read what it is like for someone to come back.

And if Jerusalem didn’t impress you, maybe this will. Senior at NOTRE DAME. TWO majors. TWO minors. We might have just found the sharpest knife in the AnnieBlogs drawer, ladies and gentlemen.

So go talk a walk in the bronzed shoe. [I'm punny.] And tell Laura hey for me. And click around this Irish girl’s bloggy home. You won’t be sorry.

Hope you have enjoyed YouBlogs! We are booked up here until the end of 2009. So if you wanna be featured, hang on and another chance will come around in 2010!

I’m super excited about introducing you to this blogger.

But I mean, if you’ve been here long enough, you know Brad. Brad is my Canadian brother. We met a few years ago at a writer’s conference and I have been uber-grateful for his friendship in my life.

Brad is a pastor and an amazing writer. And a giver. You can CLICK HERE to download his first book Finding Home for free. F.R.E.E. I also just finished reading his new book Beloved. For $2.99, it. is. a. steal.

Brad has been blogging for a while. I absolutely love THIS POST. It was Brad’s 39th birthday a few weeks ago and he gave his list of 39 things. It’s a great way to get to know him, see his darlin’ family, and read up on his life.

See? We’re all about get-to-know-you games, without the games part.

So get your clicker ready and click on over to Brad’s blog. Tell him I sent you- his wife Shauna is a FABULOUS cook- maybe she’ll make you some cinnamon rolls or something? :)

4266_193025600003_630480003_6582729_5963178_nOk. Elora won me over. Quick. Just look at the picture! I saw it and thought, “she could totally be one of my friends, sitting in Nashville, meeting me for coffee.” So pretty much, without Elora’s permission, I decided we are friends.

Elora and I are fairly similar. Based on what I’ve read, we kinda grew up the same and kinda get each other. I mean, obviously. We’re friends and all.

Elora has started a series on her blog about how she and her husband met. I love the simplicity of her heart and the commitment to the convictions laid on her heart. I think this is a great post. And it is just pretty cute, their love story looks like it’s gonna get all gushy and stuff.

So why don’t you take some time on this fine fall Thursday and go check out Elora? I don’t think you’ll regret it. She’s a darn good writer. And she’s a friend of mine.

Do you wanna be featured one week as the YouBlog-ger? Cause I would love it!! Just email me at annieblogs [at] gmail [dot] com and put “YouBlog” in the subject line. Or leave a comment. I don’t know… just get in touch with me. :)

Yeah, I know YouBlog is a Thursday thing. And today is Wednesday. But it just felt right. Go with it.

Let me introduce you to Shaunie. She is first blogger to be featured that has a photo blog as well as a writing blog. I love photo blogs because I’m totally jealous of legit photographers. And Shaunie’s pictures, her view on life, is really beautiful.

The picture that Shaunie used in this post titled STAND FIRM says so much to me. I absolutely love this post. It speaks to me personally and I also really enjoy her writing style.

Hope y’all enjoy it. Skip on over to Shaunie’s blog and check it out. Peruse around some of her other posts and her photography. I think you’ll really enjoy it.

Hey you! Yeah you, blogger. I want to feature YOUR BLOG! So just email me at annieblogs [at] gmail [dot] com and put “YouBlog” in the subject line. Or leave a comment. I don’t know… just get in touch with me. :)

allison annie

Here is my sweet friend Allison. She’s a Nash-girl, much like myself. We actually met a few months ago when she began to live the freelance lifestyle. We went out to lunch to answer the one question that all new freelancers have:

“IS IT SO AWESOME?”

And my answer is always:

“AB-SO-FREAKIN-LUTELY!!”

Cause it is awesome to get to do this writing stuff for a living. It is also fairly awesome to be friends with Allison. She has such a sweet heart and seems to be at peace at the core of who she is. It makes her very calming to be around.

My very favorite post of Allison’s is one that she wrote after her mission trip to Ireland. You know how I feel about that area of the world, so it just made my heart swell and wish I could just on a plane RIGHT NOW and hurry off to Scotland. She is such a talented writer.

So scurry on, blog readers. Take some time today to see Allison’s world. And tell her AnnieBlogs sent you. I promise you won’t regret it. Or your money back. :)
