Settle.
Written by Annie on October 9th, 2008Last night, as I was spending some time with the Lord, this verse (Psalm 107:7-9) was literally shoved in front of my eyes. My friends who really know me will not be surprised about this, but I passed this verse three times before I realized that maybe, just MAYBE, the Lord was trying to show me something. THREE TIMES. Sheesh.
The NIV version says “He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle.” So I took some time last night, a lot of time, to ask God to help me settle. If He has led me here, then He will settle me. My home. My life. My heart.

Isn’t it amazing how God shows us exactly what we need precisely when we need it!?

I was totally going to write real heartfelt comment along the lines of “how I wish I lived in Nashville because even though we’ve never met I’m sure we’d be good friends.”
But then I noticed that I was LAST in your Blogmie list.
Then I noticed it was alphabetical and I began wishing I’d named my blog something more schizophrenic like “A Secret Life of Kat” so that I wouldn’t always be at the bottom of blogrolls.
Then I saw your link to:
Mel Makes Seattle Tick
and for some reason I thought it said:
Mel Makes Me A Little Sick
And I thought that was a really sad blog name.
Anyway, perhaps what I lack in compassion and encouragement, I make up for in random humor.

Seriously, though, I am praying for you, Annie.
